Terms of Use
Fully Dry ("the site") is a website operated by Five Key LLC ("we", "us"), 1964 RAHNCLIFF CT # 22426, SAINT PAUL MN 55122-3448. By using the site or our emails, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
1. For information only. The site, calculator, checklists and emails are general information compiled from official sources and common owner experience. They are free to read and use for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
2. Not professional advice. We're not food scientists, dietitians, doctors, electricians or repair technicians. Nothing here is medical, nutrition, food-safety, electrical, financial or legal advice. For tested food-safety guidance, use the National Center for Home Food Preservation, the USDA and your local extension office. For your machine, follow its manual and its maker.
3. Food safety is your responsibility. Freeze-drying doesn't cook food or kill germs. You decide what you dry, how you prepare, package, store and eat it, and whether it's safe for you and anyone you feed. Our "done" checks are signs, not guarantees, that food is dry or safe. We make no shelf-life promises. When in doubt, throw it out.
4. Accuracy. We try to keep things accurate and up to date, and we date prices and listings. Prices, products, businesses and guidance change, and we can make mistakes. Calculator results are estimates based on the numbers you enter, not predictions of your savings.
5. No warranty. The site and emails are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.
6. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, Five Key LLC won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost food, lost profits, equipment damage or illness, arising from your use of the site, the calculator or our emails. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $50. Some places don't allow these exclusions or limits, so some of them may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, these limits don't apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or to any other liability that can't be limited under the law of your country.
7. Third-party links and listings. We link to other websites, including repair shops, suppliers and machine makers. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, products, services or policies. A listing isn't an endorsement, and we're not affiliated with any freeze dryer maker. If you're under warranty, contact your machine's maker first.
8. Affiliate links and sponsors. Some links may be affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We label affiliate links where they appear. Affiliate links are labeled 'affiliate link' before or beside the link. If we ever run a sponsored post or email, we'll label it "sponsored" or "ad". Repair and supply listings are never paid placements unless clearly labeled.
9. Our content. The text, checklists, calculator and design belong to Five Key LLC (operator of Fully Dry), except where credited (photos are public domain or CC0 via Wikimedia Commons, and icons are Lucide, ISC license). You may print or share the free materials for personal use with credit. Don't republish, sell or repackage them without permission.
10. Changes. We may update these terms, the site or the emails at any time. The "Updated" date shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site means you accept the changes.
11. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. If you are a consumer living in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live.
